It’s all about being lazy… if you want to be a good sys admin you have to think scripts to do the same task, take precise notes so as not waste you time.
Think minimalist otherwise you will never go through your notes or you will waste time by reading useless comment.
My notes were in a folder where “grep –ir whatever” was my solution to find an answer but I kept working in an office environment where I could not ssh home hence the Origin of my wiki!
